Position: Structural Design Engineer (2 openings)
Experience: 3–5 years
Software: PTC Creo 7.0, Windchill PLM
Preferred Domain: Oil & Gas
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently execute structural design and detailing tasks using Creo
- Apply skeleton modeling / top-down design approaches for structural assemblies
- Manage and navigate large assemblies efficiently in Creo
- Create and maintain 2D detailed drawings from 3D models
- Build and manage design tables for part/assembly variants
- Apply welding standards and symbols correctly in design and drawings
- Apply GD&T principles per applicable standards (ASME Y14.5 or equivalent)
- Manage data and workflows within Windchill PLM (check-in/out, revisions, structure management)
Required Skills:
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in structural design using Creo
- Strong understanding of skeleton/top-down modeling methodology
- Proficiency with Windchill PLM
- Experience handling large, complex assemblies
- Strong drawing creation and detailing skills
- Working knowledge of welding standards and symbols
- Good understanding of GD&T
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
