Required Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in automotive plastic design
- Hands-on experience in automotive plastic components (Interior and/or Exterior)
- Exposure to OEM / Tier-1 environments preferred
- Understanding of automotive product development lifecycle and milestones
- Exposure to design validation, performance checks, and CAE support
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 / 3DEXPERIENCE is mandatory
- Strong experience in 3D modeling (solid & surface) and drafting
- Knowledge of DFMEA, GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Understanding of tooling feasibility, draft analysis, ribbing, bosses and mounting features
- Experience with mechanisms and basic kinematics preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Manufacturing & Design Knowledge
- Good understanding of injection molding processes and plastic design guidelines
